What You Can Expect From A Feng Shui Home Consultation
with Carol Olmstead
How does the process work?
At the start of the session, Carol will ask what you want to improve or attract into your personal and professional life. Typical issues include love and relationships, wealth and prosperity, health and well-being.
Next, Carol will teach you the basics of Feng Shui so that you understand why certain changes are being recommended.
Then, we will walk around the outside of your home to take a look at the shape of the house and see what is surrounding you in the neighborhood.
Finally, we will go through the rooms and Carol will make suggestions for changing the placement of furniture, objects, artwork and dealing with color. We will move what we can at that time.
Some clients take notes or tape the conversation.
What materials will I receive?
Carol will give you written recommendations to follow and a ToolKit of information including the Feng Shui Quick Guide Workbook to help you continue to make improvements in your home.
What kind of follow-up is included?
During the 30 days following your initial consultation, any questions you have that can be answered by phone or e-mail are without additional charge. At the end of a month, an assessment is made of the need for additional on-site assistance. Each client's home is different and each client needs different amounts of on-site follow-up.
How long does the consultation take?
An assessment of the typical home takes 2 to 3 hours. The time is based on the types of "issues" you are facing rather than on the size of your home. Often, small improvements in placement, color, shape, or texture of objects can bring dramatic results.
When will I see improvements after I make the recommended adjustments?
It is recommended that you make the necessary adjustments within two weeks of your Feng Shui consultation. Results can occur immediately or take up to 30 days to become apparent to you.
