Carol's own Feng Shui journey began unexpectedly while working as a marketing consultant. After rearranging her office using Feng Shui principles, she landed a consulting contract in Hawaii just two weeks later — an assignment that was extended after she arrived. The experience inspired her to study with the Feng Shui Institute of America, where she earned the professional designation FSIA.
Today, Carol is recognized as one of America's leading contemporary Feng Shui practitioners. She has been featured or quoted in numerous national and regional media outlets, including Cosmopolitan, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Philadelphia Inquirer, Washingtonian, The Scientist, Prevention, Bustle, Observer, Mental Floss, and many other publications and websites.
Organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies to government agencies, universities, museums, and professional associations have invited Carol to share her practical approach for creating healthier, more productive environments. Her clients have included Discovery Communications, Booz Allen Hamilton, Marriott, NASA, Georgetown University Medical School, the U.S. Mint, Leadership Greater Washington, and IKEA. She also served as Feng Shui consultant for the Museum of International Folk Art's exhibition Sacred Realm: Blessings and Good Fortune Across Asia.
Carol is the author of four Feng Shui books, including the award-winning Feng Shui Quick Guide For Home and Office: Secrets for Attracting Wealth, Harmony, and Love.
